My adventures have led me here, sitting on the side of the river staring out at the bridge. I’ve had locals tell me that a dip in the Susquehanna will leave you with cancer, chemical burns, or X-men-like mutations. While the last option does sound tempting, I’ve settled on observing the river from afar. Putting the ominous pollution content of the water aside, it’s a beautiful sight. The sun shines down on the water, the light flickering back at me as the river moves. The city slices through the horizon and the reflections of the buildings drift lazily on the surface of the water. The suffocating sounds of sirens, yells, and car horns seem to drift away. It’s just me and the city. What will happen next?
