This is a shop that I’ve been telling myself since I started working in the adult world that I’d buy something from. I haven’t set foot inside since I was 6 or 7, but I drive past on my daily commute around four times a day. Like E.M. Foley, this shop is the picture of timelessness. When I was a kid, my favorite part of the shop would always be looking into the storefront when we were stopped at the light outside, and watching the owner’s cat lounging on the handmade furniture. The shop is still there, but the cat, sadly, hasn’t been on that wooden rocking chair for years.
