The square in Wilkes-Barre is a place most people associate with crazy people. This isn’t a wrong assumption. At any given time while walking across the square you will probably run into someone who isn’t totally there. However, at certain times, like when this photo was taken, you can see the real beauty that lies in the square. The buildings surrounding the area are old, and can be admired from almost any spot on the square. They let you sink back to a different time in Wilkes-Barre’s history, when things were bustling and local shops surrounded the area. Walking there now, you can still see the elements of old Wilkes-Barre, now infused with a modern touch.
